Black Dog Furniture Warranty 

In addition to your rights as a consumer under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, Black Dog Furniture comes with a two year warranty, which covers the structural integrity of our products.

Black Dog will repair or if unable to be repaired, replace such defects for a period of two years from the date of purchase provided that the product has not been subject to accident, abnormal use, or lack of reasonable care.

Being a natural product changes in humidity, fluctuating temperatures or direct sunlight will affect timber. Splits, cracks, bowing, joint separation and colour change are all natural weathering processes and are not covered by warranty.  Please refer to the Care and Maintenance tab.

We warn against and will not warranty any product placed directly onto soil, grass or loose stones.

Any items that have been damaged due to flooding or contact with water will void any warranty.

The warranty does not cover product sold as ‘seconds’ or furniture used in commercial or non-residential use.

If an inspection is required to determine the nature and cause of the issue and the cause of the issue is not warranty related, a call out fee may be applicable.

The warranty covers the cost involved in the repair but excludes any transport or freight costs associated with the claim.
