    Rectangle Woolpress Leaner

    Found in every shearing shed across the country in the twentieth century, the Woolpress is an iconic piece of New Zealand history. Based on the original Donalds Woolpress, Black Dog has created a classic rugged leaner that will take pride of place indoors or outdoors.

    Four solid sides. Start at 1.5m right through to 3m long. Sturdy ply base with Macrocarpa top. Finished with Black Dog oil to nourish and protect. Team up with Black Dog WOOD SLAT STOOLS or indoor luxurious UPHOLSTERED STOOLS Check out the Antique Brown leaner with the new improved 1m wide top, pictured with Honey stools.     Butcher’s Block

These stunning blocks serve both as a food preparation area and as a gorgeous piece of furniture crafted in either Macrocarpa or Recycled Rimu.  Please ask at the time of enquiry if interested in other native timber as often we have other timbers available. Black Dog standard Butcher's Blocks are available with one, two and three drawers. Handles may vary. Draw box is a ply construction for stability and longevity. The Butchers Block can be either finished with burnishing oil (food safe) on top to enable you to utilise the surface for chopping.  Alternatively the entire piece can be stained with oil if you do not wish to use as a chopping area.
